Our Practice

The name Legacy Eyecare is in honor of Dr. Mark Abrahams’ grandfather, Dr. Norman E. Abrahams, who practice optometry in Hillsboro KS from 1949 to 1991.

Dr. Robert Arnold retired in October 2015, after selecting Dr. Abrahams to continue the practice. All existing patient files have been transferred over to Dr. Abrahams, so your care may continue seamlessly. Dr. Arnold would like to thank all of you patients for your patronage for the 45 years he was in practice.

As of April 2016, the practice has moved to it’s current location in the Grand Building Suites, which is above the Well coffee shop. The practice is easily accessible from the Kansas Avenue entrance. Parking is available along Kansas Avenue. Patients with mobility needs are encouraged to call ahead so we can get you the best parking available.

Message from the Doctor

Optometry for me is much more than clear vision. I very much believe that the eyes are a window to the body and that medical eye exams are an essential part of healthy life.

I think that optometry has a unique place in the medical field and I enjoying coordinating with local doctors in order to ensure that you have the best possible care. I look forward to being a part of the McPherson community and I thank you for trusting me to continue the high level of personal vision care that you have come to expect from this practice.
